Quito Clothier – tenor

Quito Clothier is also joining us for the first time in our Easter Choral Concert.

Quito Clothier is a tenor from Hampshire, England, currently working in London. He is currently a choral scholar at St-Martin-in-the-Fields and St. James’s Church, Piccadilly. Before that, he spent three years singing with the Choir of St. Luke’s, Chelsea under the direction of Jeremy Summerly. Quito has been a soloist on BBC Radio 3’s Choral Evensong and in works such as Haydn’s Creation, Handel’s Messiah, Mozart’s C Minor Mass, and Rossini’s Petite Messe Solenelle. Operatic roles include Monsieur Triquet (Tchaikovsky’s Eugene Onegin), Satyavan (Holst’s Savitri), The Schoolmaster (Janáček’s Cunning Little Vixen), and Ismaele (Verdi’s Nabucco). Quito is taught by Patricia Rozario, Vocal Studies and Repertoire professor at the Royal College of Music. Previously, he studied at the University of Bristol where he obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Music under Angela Hickey, graduating with first class honours.
